Are You a Meticulous Accounting Assistant? Take Your Next Step in Karlshamn! We are seeking an accounting assistant for an exciting consulting assignment with one of our clients in Karlshamn. You will become an important part of the accounting department and work with ongoing accounting administration, accounts receivable/payable, and reconciliations in close collaboration with colleagues and the organization. The assignment offers a varied role with excellent development opportunities as well as the possibility of a permanent position with the client. Work Tasks In your role as an accounting assistant, you will work with daily accounting administration and support the organization with accounting-related matters. Your work tasks may include: Managing vendor invoices and accounts payable Customer invoicing and accounts receivable Recording incoming and outgoing payments Account reconciliations Reminder and collection management Ongoing accounting administrative tasks Assistance with monthly closing Contact with customers, vendors, and internal departments Management of accounting-related documentation and filing Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Post-secondary education in accounting or equivalent experience Experience working as an accounting assistant or similar accounting administrative role Good system proficiency and experience with accounting software Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written It is a merit if you have experience with accounts receivable/payable management and reconciliation work.
