Head of Security Division / Building Infrastructure Management
The Security Division of Building Infrastructure Management ensures physical security of Latvijas Banka facilities, incident management, and compliance with fire safety and civil protection requirements. The Security Division collaborates with other Latvijas Banka structural units, state institutions, and external service providers to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations of Latvijas Banka.

You will have the opportunity to:
lead the Security Division and develop the team by setting work priorities and ensuring achievement of divisional objectives;
manage physical security risks, assess new threats, and organize implementation of necessary security measures;
monitor developments in physical security, emerging threats, technologies and protection solutions, evaluate their suitability for Latvijas Banka's needs and implement them in practice;
manage physical security incidents and coordinate actions in elevated threat situations;
oversee fire safety and civil protection measures as well as external services related to physical security;
coordinate cooperation with state institutions and Latvijas Banka structural units on physical security matters;
ensure development and updating of security plans, procedures, instructions and other necessary documentation;
participate in procurement and contract preparation for security matters, establishing technical and security requirements, evaluating proposals and overseeing contract performance.
We expect from you:
higher education in security, internal affairs, military, management, law or another field corresponding to the job duties;
at least 5 years of professional experience in physical security, security services, internal affairs or related field and experience in a managerial position;
experience in team management, work organization and employee development;
knowledge and practical experience in physical security risk and incident management, as well as understanding of fire safety and civil protection requirements;
ability to analyze risks, make justified decisions and organize actions also in incident and elevated threat situations;
ability to build cooperation and engage others, working both with your team and various involved parties;
ability to lead changes, explain their necessity and engage the team in their implementation;
ability to develop employees, provide feedback and promote their professional growth;
interest in developments in the security field, new threats, technologies and protection solutions;
very good knowledge of Latvian and English (spoken and written) for communication with Latvijas Banka's foreign partners.
