Daugavpils State City Municipality Institution "Social Service" invites applications for CAREGIVERS (indefinite term) Key responsibilities of the position: Ensure client safety and supervision during Respite Care service provision; Assist with daily care: hygiene, dressing, mobility, feeding; Provide emotional support and respectful communication; Promote client engagement in simple activities according to their abilities; Monitor client well-being and report any changes; Maintain order in the client's premises; Complete necessary care documentation. Requirements for candidates: caregiver qualification or other education in the field of social care; Latvian language proficiency at B1 level; health status meeting the requirements set by the Cabinet of Ministers (Cabinet of Ministers Regulations No. 219 of 10.03.2009 "Procedure for Mandatory Health Examination"); preferred experience working with adults with functional disabilities or care needs; good communication skills, patience, and respectful attitude; high sense of responsibility, accuracy, analytical thinking, ability to work in high-intensity conditions.
