Are you a recent graduate in engineering, materials science, or quality and looking to start your career in an international industrial business? We're now seeking a junior Approval Specialist who wants to develop expertise in product approvals, certification, and technical documentation. We welcome your application! ABOUT THE ROLE: As an Approval Specialist, you'll have a central role in ensuring that the company's products meet international standards, regulatory requirements, and customer-specific specifications. You'll be responsible for coordinating and administering product approvals and certifications throughout the entire process, from testing and technical documentation to renewals and follow-up. You'll work closely with both internal and external contacts, including certification bodies, customers, test laboratories, and departments within research and development, quality, production, product management, and sales. The role involves managing multiple parallel processes and ensuring that documentation, technical files, and certificates are accurate, up-to-date, and accessible. You'll also contribute to developing and streamlining the company's approach to product approvals and regulatory compliance. By identifying improvement opportunities, you'll help the organization reduce lead times, standardize processes, and enable faster market introduction of new and existing products. For example, you will: Coordinate customer-specific testing, product trials, and approval processes in collaboration with internal and external test laboratories Manage certification processes according to international standards and customer-specific requirements, and serve as the point of contact for customers and certification bodies Prepare, review, and submit technical documentation and test results for new certifications, product extensions, and renewals Monitor changes in regulations and certification requirements, and ensure that certificates, product datasheets, and other technical information are updated and compliant Maintain certification registers in databases and PLM systems, and plan upcoming renewals Support the sales and marketing organization on certification matters and help develop and streamline internal processes WE'RE LOOKING FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE: A bachelor's degree or master's degree in engineering, materials science, quality, production, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience Strong communication skills and experience collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with document management systems Fluent communication in English (spoken and written), as the role involves international contacts It's a plus if you have: Experience with product certification, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, or technical documentation in manufacturing industry Experience from the metal industry, manufacturing industry, or another technical industrial business We'll place great emphasis on your personal fit.
