Your responsibilities As an Applications Engineer at Mondi, you will be part of ongoing and new product development projects and work in close collaboration with both our customers and internal colleagues. You will help drive current development projects, both larger initiatives and smaller modifications, and will also assist with any complaint handling. The role involves you, together with our development team, working closely with our production, sales, suppliers, and customers. Visits to suppliers and customers, primarily within Europe, are a natural part of the position. You will be part of a team focused on product development that are key players and a bridge between Mondi and our customers around the world! Travel is part of the job. Your profile We are looking for you with a strong interest in product and development! You have a relevant higher education degree, preferably in materials, paper, or chemistry. We would like to see that you have professional experience in the field. Knowledge of polymers and/or paper is considered a merit. As a person, you are curious, innovative, and always have a solution-oriented approach. You are responsible and easily drive your own work forward. To succeed well in the role, it is important that you are structured, analytical, and have an easy time collaborating at all levels. You are open as a person and since you will have many different contact points, both internally and externally, it is important that you enjoy and have an easy time communicating and building trust. You have good computer skills in Word and Excel. If you also have experience working in business systems, such as SAP, we consider that a merit. You also have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. A driver's license is a requirement. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
