About the job We are nearly 230 colleagues at Kronofogden working with IT development and we have an exciting journey ahead of us with modernization, digitalization and automation. We drive forward-looking projects with a focus on internet technology, information-centric perspectives, event-driven architecture (EDA) and modern e-services. Our key success factors are that we work together in agile teams with the departments within the authority. As an Application DBA with us, you will have varied and challenging tasks at the interface between database and application. You work closely with development teams and are responsible for ensuring a well-functioning, well-modeled and optimized database environment. Tasks include database optimization and performance tuning, data migration and transformation, data modeling and review and management of database schemas including constraints and tablespace configuration. You work daily in highly prioritized and strategically important IT systems together with competent colleagues. The role is not limited to database work – in addition to DBA tasks, you will also participate in regular system development together with the teams. This means you will be involved in developing new systems built in the latest versions of Spring Boot, as well as further developing and maintaining existing systems built in JavaEE with Weblogic Server as the application server. Your qualifications: We are looking for someone who has: Several years of current documented work experience with: Oracle database version 19c or later Database optimization and performance tuning of Oracle databases SQL and PL/SQL development against Oracle Data migration and data transformation to Oracle database Database schemas including constraints and tablespace configuration Data modeling and schema design Liquibase Java/Jakarta EE development JPA and EJB Several years of documented work experience with (system development): Spring Boot, v2 or v3 Spring framework Rest-API Queue-based integration with JMS CI/CD XML/XSD Other Post-secondary education in Data/IT Documented knowledge of Oracle, for example through certification, training or proven project experience Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing It is a merit if you have at least 2 years of experience with: Partitioning in Oracle Experience with complex system environments in larger organizations (at least 400 employees) Open Shift Container Platform or similar Artemis Kubernetes Weblogic Server or JBoss Angular and Typescript Jenkins About us Kronofogden is a state authority with an important mission. Good to know The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as an IT officer. The work is carried out mainly on-site at the authority's offices and only in exceptional cases is there an opportunity to work remotely. Working in the state means that you follow the state values. There are also special requirements for judgment, security awareness and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions at interview about any previous criminal activity and deficiencies in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked to references. We also obtain information about debts registered with Kronofogden, bankruptcy and business prohibitions. Information obtained is weighed in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position. An employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security vetting with register check according to the security protection act (2018:585) may therefore be carried out before a decision on employment.
