Chef at Scandic Värnamo – Help Us Develop Our Culinary Experience At Scandic Värnamo, we're now looking for a chef who wants to make their mark on our food operations. We are a hotel with 121 rooms, a dedicated team, and big ambitions. We're seeking someone who wants to help develop our kitchen, our processes, and our culinary experiences for our guests. Currently, we do not operate a public restaurant. Instead, we focus on catering for groups, conferences, celebrations, and events. Our hotel is open 24/7, every day of the year! We believe in hearty, delicious, and well-prepared food made with care, quality, and pride. Food that guests will want to come back for. About the Role We're looking for someone ready to take on significant responsibility in a smaller kitchen where you'll have the opportunity to influence and develop the operation. The position involves both hands-on kitchen work and responsibility for planning, organization, and development with varying work hours. You will work with: • Preparation of our evening menu • Conference lunches and catering • Charcuterie buffets and weekend service • Product production for our shop • Dinners for groups and private parties • Events and special occasions • Menu planning and offering development • Purchasing and ordering • Inventory management and stocktaking • Quality control and food safety • Sustainability, waste reduction, and food processing Who Are You?
