Norrköpings Kappsimningsklubb is seeking a Head of Swimming School Operations We are not just a club, we are a movement. Through our swimming school programs and training activities at Centralbadet in Norrköping, we offer a platform for people to challenge themselves through swimming, achieve their goals, and have fun along the way. Norrköpings Kappsimningsklubb (NKK) was founded in September 1919 and has since been a leading organization in swimming and water sports in Norrköping, Sweden. Over the years, the club has played a central role in promoting swimming as a lifelong sport and has helped shape several generations of swimmers with fantastic achievements. We are looking for a Head of Swimming School Operations who wants to help develop the programs and work collaboratively in a team environment. The role involves leading our swimming school groups with a focus on swimming instruction. Your experience and clear leadership style are important. Together with other staff, you will create an inspiring atmosphere and drive initiatives aimed at achieving the club's long-term goals. We are looking for a positive, action-oriented, and results-driven person who leads and inspires your team in the swimming school operations. Communication with staff and our members is essential. The role requires time in and around the pool as well as administrative tasks. What the role involves: As Head of Swimming School Operations, you are responsible for the overall direction and are a link to other activities. You will: • Develop and lead the swimming school with the goal of achieving the organization's strategic objectives. • Together with other department leaders, continue developing the entire organization's programs. • Ensure that activities are planned and executed on a seasonal basis. • Hold responsibility for results and budget for swimming school operations. • Manage personnel and work environment matters. Recruit, plan, coach, and train instructors in the swimming school program. • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Have experience and solid knowledge of leadership. • Possess knowledge of physical and psychological development in children. • Teach groups in the water and are engaged and interested in swimming instruction. Ensure we follow Swedish Swimming Sport's Swimming Guidelines. • Hold relevant qualifications; desired qualifications include Swedish Swimming Sport education certification, preferably a licensed Swimming Instructor certification, and prior leadership experience. Your qualities: You love swimming and are passionate about developing swimming skills and training in children, youth, and adults. You enjoy working in a team that drives and develops the program forward together. As a leader, you have strong integrity, are an excellent communicator, and have good pedagogical skills, the ability and desire to build strong team spirit and engagement. Employment terms: 100% position where approximately 35% is swimming instruction and the remaining time is administrative duties. Contract according to the Industry Agreement for Sports.
