Do you have experience working with fiber optic technology and are looking for a varied role with responsibility where you can contribute to the public good? Job Responsibilities As an Installation Specialist, you will work with operational matters related to cables, technical facilities, and radio towers in Trafikverket's telecommunications infrastructure. One part of the role involves responsibility for ensuring our facilities are built and maintained correctly. You will work practically with handling optical fibers in our installations. In the other part of the role, you will be our representative to our contractors and will have Client Representative responsibility, participating in and leading regional maintenance and construction meetings. You make decisions regarding technical solutions and assist with technical documentation. Qualifications Personal Qualities You are a problem-solver with analytical ability who independently takes responsibility for driving your work tasks forward, while working flexibly according to different work situations. You can communicate and collaborate with individuals, groups, and the public, and you also have high integrity and a strong safety mindset. We are looking for someone who has at least a couple of years of practical experience working with optical cables and/or blown fiber systems education with a telecommunications focus, or alternatively other education combined with experience that we collectively assess as equivalent good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written a valid driver's license for a passenger car It is meritorious if you have experience with telecommunications networks, radio networks, and/or radio towers and associated technical facilities, at Trafikverket or in similar telecommunications operations experience working as, for example, a construction manager or similar role in the contracting industry, where you have followed up/ensured delivery in a facility or project experience with CAD fiber optic certification (CFT) Additional Information Would you like a flexible workday with the opportunity to work from home?
