ABOUT THE JOB We offer varied work with operation and maintenance of streets, roads, green spaces and recreational facilities. Our mission includes creating safety and good accessibility for residents and visitors in Lycksele municipality, for example by maintaining walking and cycling paths, ensuring functioning lighting, snow removal and de-icing. During the snow-free season, this includes sand removal after winter, adjustment of catch basins, road signs and maintenance of playgrounds. Examples of work tasks during winter include snow removal, de-icing, catch basin maintenance, ski trail grooming and forestry work. The work consists of both machine operation and physical labor. Wintry road maintenance standby is included in the position during the period October - April. YOUR PROFILE We believe in the right competence in the right place. For this assignment, it is advantageous if you have education in construction and infrastructure or transport, and several years of work experience in the field. Experience with similar work is considered a merit. Driver's license B is required for the assignment. If you also have driver's license C and/or certification as a wheel loader operator, this is considered a merit.
