Hallås Trä & Entreprenad AB is seeking a construction laborer for our projects involving playgrounds, activity areas, and outdoor environments. The role is varied and combines traditional earthwork and construction with assembly and building work. Work takes place primarily in the Gothenburg area, but work in other locations may occur. You work both independently and together with colleagues and share joint responsibility for projects being completed with high quality, good safety, and order on the worksite. Job Responsibilities Job tasks vary between projects and include, among others: Earthwork and Construction Foundations and site preparation Excavation, drainage, and backfilling Leveling and substrate preparation Setting curbs and paving stones Application of safety surfacing materials, such as sand and wood chips Machine operation depending on experience Assembly and Building Assembly of playground equipment, outdoor gyms, and other activity area equipment Construction and assembly of decks and other wooden structures in outdoor environments Foundation and anchoring of equipment Final adjustments and finishing to ensure a safe and well-executed result Winter Season Winter on-call duty for snow removal and de-icing may be included in the position Winter duty is weather-dependent and may involve work at inconvenient times, such as early mornings, evenings, and nights Qualifications Requirements Experience with earthwork and construction Ability to work both independently and in a team Ability to read and understand drawings and assembly instructions B-class driver's license Merits Machinery experience with, for example, excavators and wheel loaders Foreman certification or relevant machinery training Experience with carpentry and wooden structures Experience with playground assembly or similar assembly work Experience with snow removal Who Are We Looking For?
