The Infrastructure Department is responsible for catering and facility management, development, urban planning and building permits, parks and green spaces, roads, water, and waste. Here, about 300 employees work together to make Ystad a great municipality to live, work, and thrive in. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The tasks are varied and include ground work on new construction and renovation projects, with a strong focus on stone paving. The work also encompasses paving, curb work, excavation, simple water and sewage work, and other common ground and construction tasks. You will primarily work together with a colleague, where you jointly take responsibility for and perform all tasks. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements: • Has upper secondary education in construction and civil engineering or equivalent practical experience in construction and pipe laying work that the employer deems equivalent • Has at least 5 years of experience in construction work as well as in piping and pipe laying work • Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • Holds a category B driver's license for manual transmission Beyond this, you can take significant responsibility and drive the work independently together with your colleague. As a person, you enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. Since a significant portion of the tasks will involve stone paving, we place great emphasis on experience in this area. If you also have qualifications and experience with wheel loaders and wheel excavators, this is a merit. If you additionally have training in road work, safe excavation, hot work, and plastic pipe welding, this is also a merit. We place great importance on personal qualities. We believe you are responsible, engaged, and positive by nature. Social competence and collaboration skills are of great importance for you to thrive and succeed in the role. Beyond this, it is essential that you have a clear safety mindset to promote a good and safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Salary form: Monthly salary.
