About Us
The Operating Department at Nyköpings Lasarett operates in new state-of-the-art facilities that promote a good work environment and enable efficient patient flows. The department is centrally located within the hospital and in close proximity to ICU/HDU and the upcoming day surgery department.
Within the operating department, approximately 5,000 operations are performed annually, within surgery/urology, orthopedics, gynecology/obstetrics and otolaryngology (ENT), of which one-third are emergency operations.
In our business development, we place great focus on creating efficient patient flows, working process-oriented and smart in teams. Leadership and employee collaboration are central parts of our operations where competency development and having fun at the workplace are of great importance!
All employees have individual schedules. Day, evening and night shifts as well as individual holiday schedules are included.
Your Responsibilities
As an anesthesia nurse, you will work in a team within the perioperative care chain as well as some independent work on call. In your role, you take responsibility for your anesthesiological tasks and work for the whole team and around the patient. Together we perform emergency and planned operations, around the clock. Your tasks also include trauma management according to ATSS, anesthesiological assistance during emergency alerts and during certain radiological activities - MRI, CT scanning. Central access lines as well as anesthesia assistance during ECT treatments are also included in your responsibilities.
Your Qualifications
You are a licensed nurse with specialist education in anesthesia care.
As a person, you are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. You take initiative and responsibility for your own tasks as well as for the whole. Flexibility and loyalty are your strengths as work as an anesthesia nurse is built on teamwork. You have maturity in both your person and profession, and preferably some years of experience.
We place great emphasis on personal qualities.
