About the Swedish Prison and Probation Service The Swedish Prison and Probation Service is growing – we are building new facilities, renovating, and expanding, and we are now seeking additional staff members. Our most important goal is to reduce recidivism – to break the cycle of crime. If we succeed, society becomes safer and more secure for everyone. We are the agency responsible for prisons, probation services, remand facilities, and inmate transportation. The Statistics Section is part of the Agency Management Office. The section consists of 18 employees and the main task is to drive and develop the agency's statistics operations and digitalization of the agency's monitoring solutions. The work includes developing various types of analyses and statistical publications in order to contribute to a transparent and knowledge-driven prison and probation service. The section assists external stakeholders with the delivery of statistics and analyses. The section also has the task of managing the administration of management and monitoring. The work aims to provide a basis for decision-making and improved analytical capability as well as to support efficient and quality-assured operations management. This includes, among other things, supporting operations in making operational monitoring accessible by driving the development of statistics systems/BI solutions. Job Description As an analyst with a focus on digitalization, you are responsible for operations-related management and drive digitalization in this area. This includes, among other things, identifying and compiling the operations' needs. The work also includes coordinating, prioritizing, and planning activities in the short and long term as well as leading, directing, and following up on the work. You drive digitalization efforts in close dialogue with the responsible object owner and in collaboration with experts in operations and within digitalization. Possible work locations for the position are Norrköping, Stockholm, Örebro, or Malmö.
