We are looking for someone with child care training who wants to work in preschool and who wants to be involved in developing and influencing a small operation where decisions are made quickly. The preschool has three departments and the fourth is our after-school program.
About the Workplace

You have great commitment, enthusiasm, and willingness to work in a team where everyone can share and distribute responsibility while also being able to take responsibility for and lead the operation forward in accordance with the after-school program's governing documents.
Work at Åmini preschool and after-school program means you work in a team together with preschool teachers and child care workers at the preschool. Teaching at Åmini is based on a holistic view of children's/students' development and sees play, creativity, and resourcefulness as important ingredients in the operation's teaching to promote and develop every individual's learning regardless of age.
About Us
Åmini is an independent preschool and after-school program run by the community association Åminne Gille. The board is committed to Åmini maintaining high quality and being an attractive employer. We are responsive to the operation's needs and have short decision-making paths.
Åminne is located 6 km south of Värnamo along the western side of Vidöstern. The operation is conducted in Åminne's old school building and we have a large and wonderful outdoor environment that invites various games and activities, plus proximity to nature that we enjoy visiting. Students are bused to and from Mossleskolan, which is located in Värnamo town.
An established collaboration exists for experience exchange and professional development with other independent preschool and after-school program operations in Värnamo.
About the Position
You have education with qualifications to work in preschool.
We place great importance on personal suitability and ask that you submit a CV and a personal letter that describes your way of working and how you see the preschool's operation.
Employment Type
Fixed-term contract. Limited employment from 31/8 through 31/12. With good opportunities for extension one term at a time. Service degree 25-100%.
Start Date
31 August 2026 or by agreement.
