As a Mobile Occupational Therapist, you will be based in central Lindesberg and work where needs arise within the Rehabilitation Unit. Our occupational therapists are active in group homes, LSS facilities, home care services, and day rehabilitation centers throughout the municipality. DUTIES As a Mobile Occupational Therapist, you are responsible for both general and specialized rehabilitation in the various facilities. You will carry out targeted interventions at the units where needs exist and, when needed, participate in various meetings and coordination around individual cases. You will be placed at the unit that needs support, and the length of placement varies based on the facility's needs. Your work includes collaboration with nurses, unit managers, care staff, and physiotherapists. In your role as an occupational therapist, you shall assess needs and carry out occupational therapy interventions. This includes ADL assessments, implementing rehabilitative measures through activity capacity training, prescribing assistive devices, and assessing needs for home adaptations. Your work includes working with national quality registries to increase quality assurance for individuals. You shall also document in journal systems and establish rehabilitation plans, participate in care planning/SIP meetings, and mentor care staff. Together with other occupational therapy colleagues, you shall mentor students and provide training in transfer techniques when needed. Furthermore, you will collaborate with nurses, unit managers, and care staff through team meetings and unit meetings. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed Occupational Therapist with professional experience and references that can attest to your competence. You must hold a driver's license, class B. You have strong Swedish language skills, both verbal and written. It is also advantageous if you have: - Experience working in municipal operations. - Experience with LSS services. - Knowledge of the Viva management system. You are independent both alone and in a group, and you want to do your utmost for patients. You are confident in your professional role, engaged, helpful, and accommodating.
