We are looking for We are now seeking a licensed nurse with at least 3 years of continuous valid B-class driver's license. You must have good physical fitness as heavy lifting occurs in the work. What you will be working with In ambulance services, you meet patients of all ages who have suffered acute illness or injury—either in their homes, outdoors, or at accident scenes. Together with a paramedic or ambulance nurse, you form a team that is often first on scene during serious illness or accidents. As an ambulance nurse, you make the initial assessment, perform treatment, and hold medical responsibility for deciding on care and treatment interventions. In ambulance services, each case presents unique situations and challenges where your help can be decisive and make a real difference. Ambulance services is organizationally its own unit within emergency care, and in rural areas includes integration with primary care/health centers. The team works together and collaborates with other professional disciplines such as emergency departments, municipalities, rescue services, and police.
