Kuldīga Municipality, reg. no. 90000035590, announces a competition for a vacant Amateur Theater "Es un Tu" Director position in the Culture Department of Vārme Parish for an indefinite period. We offer: - Work in a professional and creative team - An active and dynamic work environment with the opportunity to realize creative ideas and gain new experience - Part-time position (0.25 rate) with accumulated working time tracking - Salary for part-time work (0.25 rate) – 276.25 EUR before tax deduction - Social guarantees Main responsibilities: - Organize and plan the activities and development of the amateur theater "Es un Tu" - Attract new members, promoting the artistic growth of the theater collective and maintaining a positive atmosphere - Ensure appropriate repertoire staging for the theater collective - Be responsible for the collective's costumes and accessories - Ensure the collective's participation in regional events - Organize and ensure the collective's participation in various events, competitions, amateur theater festivals and showcases, including participation in events of national significance - Organize the collective's representation: participate in meetings, assemblies, maintain contacts with other collectives and institutions - Maintain documentation related to collective activities (reports) in accordance with procedures established by the department Requirements for candidates: - Appropriate professional education or practical experience in amateur theater directing - Good communication and collaboration skills when working with people of different professions and ages - Ability to work in a team - Accuracy and responsible attitude toward work - Work experience as an amateur arts collective management specialist or in the culture sector will be considered an advantage Candidates must submit: - A brief curriculum vitae - A motivation letter - Copies of documents confirming education and qualifications Application deadline: by September 7, 2026 at 18:00 (inclusive).
