Your responsibilities
As a teaching assistant at the Department of Information Technology, your responsibilities may include tutoring and workshop facilitation, seminar activities, and teaching support. You may also participate in pedagogical development, create course materials, and handle certain administrative tasks. Your work will cover undergraduate courses in the IT and Business Bachelor's Program, Systems Science Education, and Systems Architecture Education with a focus on software development.
Your responsibilities may have different specializations within the systems development field, such as information systems, systems development, and programming. The specialization will be adapted based on the department's needs and your competencies and areas of interest. Example courses include Business Processes and Enterprise Systems, Systems Analysis and Design, Change Management and Information Systems Design, and Database Technology. Your responsibilities may also include programming-focused courses, such as Introduction to Programming with C#, Object-Oriented Systems and Software Development, and Database Technology. In addition, tasks related to the department's various projects and activities may occur.
Strong communication skills in Swedish and English are essential for this position. You should be thorough, flexible, and systematic, and be able to work independently. Since the teaching assistant role involves contact with many people in connection with teaching activities, it is important that you are outgoing and experienced in handling new relationships.
Qualifications
To be eligible for employment, you must:
be enrolled in a program at the Department of Information Technology.
be studying at least semester 4 at the bachelor's level.
have strong knowledge of software development and object-oriented programming.
have excellent and documented knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

Meritorious qualifications
Experience working as a project assistant or project manager.

Employment form: Employment as teaching assistant according to HF 5 kap, approximately 10 months, but no later than June 30, 2027.
Degree of employment: 25% or by agreement
Start date: By agreement.
