The Department of Communication, Quality Technology, and Information Systems operates at both Campus Östersund and Campus Sundsvall. The department conducts education and research in subjects within the areas of Communication, Quality Technology, and Information Systems.
Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a research assistant who wants to support the work of the SEE research group (Software Engineering and Education). The responsibilities consist of project administration with a focus on communication support for the group's various projects and activities, such as developing and distributing material about the group's work, maintaining the website and social media channels, supporting the planning and documentation of meetings, seminars and events, and assisting in contact with collaboration partners. Much of the work can be performed remotely.
Qualifications
The person to be employed as a research assistant must be eligible according to the requirements described in Mid Sweden University's employment regulations.
Eligible to be employed as a research assistant is a person who is admitted to education at the basic level or advanced level.
Assessment Criteria
The assessment criteria applied in the selection are the applicant's suitability for the assignment. Previous experience working as a communicator or other communication work is a merit.

We want you to be independent, organized, and enjoy communicating—both in writing and with people—and to deliver according to predetermined timelines.
Processing
Preparation of the employment follows the procedures specified in Chapter 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance and proceeds in accordance with Mid Sweden University's employment regulations.
Employment and Start Date
The employment comprises 20% of full-time from September 30, 2026, or by agreement, but no later than March 30, 2027.
The employment may be renewed in accordance with Chapter 5, Section 12 of the Higher Education Ordinance (1993:100).
