Åmåls Ridklubb (ÅRK) is now seeking a driven and creative Operations Manager who, together with colleagues and the board, wants to continue developing a sustainable, inclusive, and high-quality riding school - for everyone. About us - Åmåls Ridklubb Åmåls Ridklubb is a nonprofit association where the horse's welfare, community, and development are at the center. We want everyone, regardless of age, experience, or background, to feel welcome, safe, and included. Respect, camaraderie, joy, and responsibility are our guiding values. We have a modern facility with two riding halls, paddocks, beautiful natural riding trails, and a newly built stable from 2024. Here children and adults meet, from beginners to more experienced riders, through riding lessons, competitions, and other activities. Our ambition is to continue developing ÅRK into a modern and vibrant activity center where both the horse's and human's well-being are at the center. About the role: As Operations Manager, you have overall responsibility for the riding school's operations. This involves both strategic and operational work - with the opportunity to influence, shape, and develop ÅRK's content and future. You are a key person in implementing the board's goals into concrete results and lead the daily work together with the staff. We are looking for you: We seek someone who is solution-oriented, engaged, and creative, with natural leadership. You have good communication skills and create well-being and collaboration in teams. You are driven to develop people, horses, and operations, and have a structured work approach where you can balance daily operations with long-term planning. You are expected to be a driving force in development work; pedagogical, organizational, financial, and operational, and to initiate and drive projects, improvements, and new ideas that strengthen the club's quality and attractiveness. You contribute to creating a vibrant, engaging, and sustainable riding school with high focus on horse welfare. Responsibilities: Lead and develop the riding school operations pedagogically, organizationally, and financially. Personnel and work environment responsibility. Plan and conduct riding lessons and theory lessons as needed. Financial responsibility, including invoicing, payroll, budgeting, follow-up, and reporting. Actively work to develop revenue-generating activities and contribute to long-term financial sustainability of the operations. Plan and conduct member activities and other events, such as trail rides, clubs, training, and smaller competition activities. Some evening and weekend work occurs. Maintain good member contact and collaborate with the board, volunteers, and partners. Operational responsibility for the facility, stable, and horse welfare, including some practical stable work. Develop and coordinate the club's café and sales operations and other initiatives that can contribute to increased revenue. Coordinate and promote competition activities. Qualifications: Experience in management positions. Experience in personnel management and operations development. Good computer skills (Office package). Driver's license class B required. BE or extended B is meriting. Meriting: Certified riding instructor (SRL II), hippologist, or other equivalent education that we consider equivalent. Experience with financial work, LOK support, and administrative work in Ridskole-Academy or similar systems. About the position: Type of employment: Permanent with 6 months probation. Scope: 100% or by agreement. The position is mainly based on weekdays, but evening and weekend work occurs in connection with activities, competitions, and events.
