We are seeking a general practitioner as our colleague is relocating. Then we look forward to your application! Duties As a general practitioner, your work tasks will primarily focus on patient care at the health center. Depending on needs and your interests, responsibility for special housing, memory assessments, senior clinic, home care patients, or work at the child health center may also be relevant. In meeting with patients, you work both independently and in a team with other professionals at the health center. The health center has many training doctors and mentoring is included in your work tasks. Improvement work is an important part of the work to adapt care to the future. Curious and want to know more? About the Workplace The 11 regional health centers and the urgent care clinics of the health centers in Västmanland are operated as an internal enterprise with a board and Region Västmanland as owner. The operations are gathered under the name Närvården Västmanland and together we work to offer accessible and high-quality primary healthcare throughout the county. We continuously invest in developing our workplaces to meet the primary healthcare of the future. Närvården Hemdal is a well-established and relatively large health center in Västerås, located at entrance 19 on the hospital premises. We are responsible for approximately 13,300 registered patients and our unit includes doctor and district nurse clinics, maternal and child health care, a rehabilitation unit with physiotherapists and occupational therapist, and a psychosocial team with counselor, psychologist, and nurse. To succeed in this role, you have worked as a specialist doctor for several years and previous experience from Primary Healthcare is highly meritorious, as is experience with the Cosmic electronic health record system. As a Person you are a stable and trustworthy person with high integrity and sound judgment, you are development-oriented and dare, like us, to think new and see opportunities in change. Maintaining your specialist knowledge is self-evident to you, you like to share your knowledge with others in the team and collaboration is important to you, you are clear and well-articulated in your communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues alike, and you follow up to ensure your message has been received, you find it easy to adapt and respond to new circumstances, and you take initiative and responsibility in your work. Terms of Employment The position is a permanent employment on a full-time basis with start date by agreement. Some on-call duty may occur. We apply individual and differentiated salary setting.
