The General Complaints Board (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden) is Seeking One or More Lawyers The primary mission of Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN) is to hear disputes between consumers and businesses. ARN employs close to 50 staff members, of whom over 35 are lawyers. ARN also has a number of external chairpersons on contract, with experience as judges, including in the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal for the Eastern District (Svea hovrätt). These individuals have, by tradition, particular expertise in civil law matters. Duties As a lawyer, you will work within various dispute areas and have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge of civil law. Your work will primarily consist of independently preparing and presenting cases as well as making decisions yourself. You will be part of one of two departments and report to the department head. Qualifications We are seeking someone who · has a law degree, · is a notary or has experience that the employer considers equivalent, such as experience with qualified decision-making or conducting cases in court, · has at least three years of experience in qualified legal work where your work experience should be recent and span continuously over at least one year, · has excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
