ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking an engaged handler who wants to help ensure lawful and professional licensing and supervisory activities in Lycksele Municipality.
As a handler in the regulatory unit at Lycksele Municipality, your main tasks will consist of handling and investigating matters concerning permits for alcohol service and tobacco sales, as well as planning and conducting inspections in accordance with the Alcohol Act. You will collaborate with other authorities such as the Police Authority, the Tax Agency, and the Rescue Service. Your duties include checking the personal suitability of permit holders, companies' finances, and where funds come from that finance the operations.
The role as an alcohol handler also includes investigation of financial matters such as review of annual reports, bookkeeping, limited company regulations, and audit regulations. Working hours are mainly during the day, but weekend, evening, and night shifts also occur in connection with inspections.
The position can also be combined with other tasks within the regulatory unit, such as administrative tasks including reporting statistics, filing documents, and preparing certain matters for decision. This gives you the opportunity to broaden your competence and have a varied role with insight into several parts of the regulatory unit's operations.

We are looking for someone who is thorough, communicative, and stress-resilient. You have the ability to prioritize and reschedule among several important tasks and be efficient in your handling. You have good judgment and see the whole picture and take into account the larger perspective in planning, action, and decision-making. You are thorough, responsible, and have a good sense of lawfulness.
We would like to see that you have several years of current experience in case handling and investigation, current experience of exercising public authority, and a very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish both in writing and speech. It is advantageous if you have experience of and knowledge in financial review, such as work with annual reports, bookkeeping rules, limited company rules, audit rules. Knowledge of the Alcohol Act as well as experience in handling and investigation according to the Alcohol Act is also advantageous.
