As an alcohol and tobacco handler, you are one of two organized directly under the director of the social and disability support administration. Your physical workplace is in the Ruthensparre municipal building. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES The position of alcohol and tobacco handler reports directly to the administration director. As an alcohol and tobacco handler within Karlskrona Municipality, your main responsibilities will consist of processing and investigating cases concerning permits for alcohol service and tobacco sales, as well as planning and conducting inspections according to the alcohol law. You will collaborate with other authorities such as the Police Authority, the Tax Agency, and the Rescue Service. Your duties include verifying the personal suitability of permit holders, companies' finances, and the sources of funds financing the operations. The role of alcohol handler also includes investigation of financial matters such as reviewing annual reports, accounting records, limited company regulations, and audit regulations. Working hours are primarily daytime, but evening, night, and weekend shifts also occur in connection with inspections. QUALIFICATIONS You have a law degree or other higher education with equivalent legal focus, or alternatively other higher education plus several years of experience in legal work/qualified investigation work that the employer considers relevant for the position. A driver's license is required. We see that you have several years of current experience in case processing and investigation, several years of current experience in public authority work, and a very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish both in writing and speech. It is meritorious if you have experience with and knowledge of financial audits, such as work with annual reports, accounting regulations, limited company regulations, audit regulations. Experience working in a customer and service-oriented operation, experience working as a lawyer or other relevant legal work. Knowledge of the alcohol law and experience in processing and investigation according to the alcohol law is also meritorious. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities and competencies. You have good judgment and see the bigger picture and take into account the broader perspective in planning, action, and decision-making.
