Then you should apply for this position! Your new job As an alcohol and drug treatment specialist at Family Support, in addition to treatment work, you also have tasks in information and counseling. You conduct information visits for new family members to inform them about what Family Support's course program includes. If a family member wants to participate in the course program or receive advisory conversations, you make the decision directly during the information visit. You then register an intervention without a needs assessment and set up a plan for continued conversation contact. As an alcohol and drug treatment specialist at Family Support, you conduct individual treatment conversations. The focus is on change processes, primarily addressing cohabitation issues and their consequences. Your responsibilities include independently planning, following up on, and working based on the course program we offer. You work from a holistic perspective where each individual's different needs are taken into account in treatment work. Your expertise Requirements for the position include a completed higher education or university degree with a focus on treatment, social work degree, social pedagogy (3-year) or similar education of at least 180 hp that the employer deems appropriate. Competence and experience with individual counseling treatment for addiction issues and/or codependency issues is a requirement. It is meritorious if you have training in and have worked with codependency issues, preferably the Minnesota Model, Carina Bång's material for family members, or Craig Nakken's theory of the dependent personality. You are a stable and trustworthy person who can treat people with respect, create good relationships, and work well with others. Family Support offers relatives a course program or five advisory conversations within the framework of service and without documentation requirements. Relatives can contact Family Support themselves and are offered a course program or advisory conversation individually. The course program is based on the Minnesota Model's family program, Carina Bång's material for relatives, and Craig Nakken's theory of the dependent personality. The course program is offered to adults over 18 years of age, individually or to several relatives in a family. The course program contains thirteen themes covering addiction knowledge, addiction's impact on the family, emotional consequences, change, parenting with harmful use and addiction, as well as summary and evaluation. Relatives have the same treatment specialist throughout the entire course program, which is expected to result in improving relatives' life situations and increased quality of life. Family Support operates from the facility at Kapellgatan in Jönköping.
