National Armed Forces Joint Staff (Reg. No. 9000006880) announces a vacancy for the position of Compensation Accountant for an indefinite period. Key responsibilities: • calculate employee compensation expenses: salaries, sick leave and vacation pay, bonuses, compensations, etc.; • calculate taxes and other deductions; • prepare reports and statements related to compensation, including for submission to the State Revenue Service; • participate in the preparation of annual, quarterly, and monthly reports. Work location: Riga, Krustabaznīcas Street 9 (on-site work). Requirements for applicants: • at least Level 1 / short-cycle professional higher education in finance, accounting or related field; • 1 year of experience in accounting; experience working with the RVS Horizon compensation calculation system is desirable. To perform this position, you will need to obtain a special permit for access to state secrets in accordance with the "State Secrets" Law, Articles 9, paragraphs 2 and 3. We offer: • monthly salary from 1798 to 2174 euro (before tax payment); • additional vacation days, vacation allowance in accordance with state administration regulations; • health insurance after the trial period.
