I am a 17-year-old (soon 18) boy who is now looking for a guy who wants to work extra as a personal assistant for me. I have a CP injury, autism, ADHD, intellectual disability (ID), chronic kidney failure, and hyperthyroidism. I also have a PEG tube.
I live with my mom & dad and my 3 younger siblings in a house in the countryside outside Tillberga in Västerås. We also have cats and a small dog at home. Your workplace will be at my home, but I think we should go on adventures together when my condition allows it. During the day I go to school; your job starts when I come home from school.
You will be my extended arm and take over and help where my disability sets limits. Your role also includes planning and structuring my daily routine with me so that I can become as independent as possible. You will also handle my medications.
My interests are cars, music, building Lego, watching hockey, and going to Gröna Lund/Liseberg. I love speed and thrills!
You and I will spend time together through thick and thin, on vacation, at parties, and in everyday life. We will develop a close relationship with each other. Therefore, it is important that we click personally and that we enjoy each other's company.
For this position, we require that you:
- Are calm, reliable, patient, and empathetic
- Have a strong sense of responsibility, be flexible
- Are an energetic and forward-thinking person
- We highly value if you are willing to work hard and loyal
- Speak Swedish fluently, both spoken and written
- Must be able to tolerate pets
- Must have a driver's license & your own car to be able to get to my home
- Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability
Working hours: Weekdays approx. 4:00 PM–7:00 PM, weekends Saturday & Sunday approx. 2:00 PM–7:00 PM
Employment type: Hourly employment, work as needed
Salary: Fixed hourly wage by agreement. Other compensation according to collective agreement
Start date: Immediately
