Welcome to Al Dente – Northern Europe's largest Italian food community Al Dente was founded in Stockholm in 2002 and has grown to become the Nordic region's leading destination for authentic Italian cooking, wine tastings, and culinary experiences. Today we operate seven locations, have over 50 chefs, and welcome more than 25,000 guests each year. We are known for our homemade pasta, gelato, cooking classes, and strong Italian community. Now we're taking the next step and opening Piazza Italia, a fresh pasta restaurant located in the same building as Al Dente Gothenburg. Piazza Italia – Gothenburg's new home for fresh pasta Our new two-story destination combines restaurant and cooking studio: Ground Floor – Piazza Italia: A fresh pasta restaurant where we serve a carefully curated selection of dishes daily, all based on homemade fresh pasta. We work with an intentionally focused concept: few dishes, executed perfectly, with ingredients that speak for themselves. To finish, we offer our own-produced gelato, made according to Italian tradition. We welcome both reservation guests and walk-ins. Upper Floor – Cooking Studio: Already operational, where we offer cooking classes and wine tastings for both private individuals and businesses. A complete concept – restaurant, classes, and events in one flow What makes Al Dente unique is that the entire operation is interconnected. All prep work done for our restaurant guests is also used for our cooking classes and events. This means: We work with the same ingredients, the same quality, and the same craftsmanship across all parts of the business. Our chefs have a varied and rewarding role, where you cook for the restaurant while contributing to classes and events. Guests experience authenticity and consistency – whether they come for dinner, a class, or a corporate event.
