1 position(s). Work Environment and Workplace Description The Activity Center is a daily occupational program within Falun Municipality's Social Psychiatry services. Activities are designed based on participants' interests, needs, and current state. The program combines creative activities with practical components. One example is our secondhand store where participants have the opportunity to engage in a social setting with elements of reuse, sorting, and customer interaction. We also collaborate with a local company on material assembly, giving participants the chance to work on clearly defined tasks in cooperation with the business sector. The program is under continuous development and we actively work to strengthen the connection to the business group within social psychiatry. The goal is to create more work-like occupational opportunities and provide a pathway forward for participants who are ready for the next step. The Activity Center is a safe and developmental environment where each individual is given the opportunity to grow at their own pace. The program is characterized by respect, commitment, and a low-key approach – and as an activity support worker, you will help shape the content together with colleagues and participants. Work Responsibilities In this role, you will document and work with implementation plans in our activity management systems. You also have direct responsibility for following up on participants' progress. You represent the occupational services by participating in Individual Service Plans (ISP) and other important collaboration meetings as applicable. Qualifications The role requires: Care and nursing program or other relevant education Education in psychiatry and/or training in working with neurodevelopmental variations Experience working with this target group within social psychiatry services Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing Good computer skills and experience with Adobe suite and Microsoft Office Class B driver's license Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is confident, attentive, and has a genuine interest in working with people. You have a strong ability to build trusting relationships and approach each individual with respect and commitment. You are flexible and creative, able to adapt activities based on participants' current state and needs. You maintain a calm, low-key approach and are experienced in working in a structured manner even in situations requiring patience and perseverance. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and you actively contribute to a positive work environment. Your initiative and drive to develop the program enable you to see opportunities and take responsibility for moving the work forward together. Desirable Qualifications Education as a support pedagogue or social pedagogue Documented experience in areas such as music and art is a plus Education/experience/interest in creative activities Employment Terms This recruitment is for a permanent position with start date September 1, 2026 or by agreement. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday–Friday. Please attach educational certificates with your application, as these will be requested if you become a candidate for the position.
