Passalen is a nonprofit organization working toward a more inclusive society that recognizes the potential in all children. We create inclusion for children and young people with disabilities who need support organizing their free time, finding friends, or trying out summer work, and we conduct activities that promote meaningful encounters between people.

Program-Specific Information
Passalen's activities are carried out through various programs and projects. In this role, you will work in the Weekend Club. The Weekend Club is an educational program where children and young people with disabilities have the opportunity to practice social interaction in a small group based on shared interests. Participants are divided into groups by broad interest areas such as games, sports, and art. The Weekend Club is a recurring weekend activity with groups that meet Saturday and Sunday once a month, and groups that meet either Saturday or Sunday every other weekend.
Activities take place at different locations depending on the group. All groups occasionally visit open meeting places such as movie theaters, museums, gaming cafes, bowling alleys, or similar venues depending on the group's theme.

Job Description
As an activity leader, you are expected to be curious about meeting people different from yourself and ensure that all participants feel seen and included. You need to be self-driven and take initiative, as it often requires you to make decisions on the spot. To succeed in the role, you also need the ability to work structured, be patient, and maintain composure in stressful situations.
As an activity leader, you also need to plan and lead work, with overall responsibility for supervising your colleagues and structuring your work shift. You also need good communication skills both within your work group, with participants, and with guardians. In addition to these abilities, you are expected to follow your scheduled times and enjoy collaborating with other staff on site.
Collaboration is an important part of the role—you should enjoy working in a team but also be able to work independently.
This is a part-time weekend position where you work approximately 1 weekend per month, plus preparatory work before the weekend and follow-up work after. The work involves approximately 5-6 hours per week on average, some weeks more and some less throughout the term.
The position also includes mandatory training sessions and meetings scheduled on weekday evenings.
Employment begins in August 2026 and runs through one term until December 2026, with the possibility of extension for the next term.

· have an interest in games, art, or sports and enjoy carrying out activities together with others
· can plan and lead work, with overall responsibility for supervising your colleagues and structuring your work shift
· have good communication skills within your work group as well as with participants and guardians
· have computer skills
Passalen works with youth influence, which means we see value in you as a leader creating safety through identification and a sense of belonging with participants.
