Passalen is a non-profit organization working towards a more inclusive society that recognizes the potential in all children. We create inclusion for children and young people with disabilities who need support organizing their leisure time, finding a friend, or trying out holiday work, and we run activities that promote encounters between people.

Program-Specific Information
Passalen's activities are conducted through various programs and projects. In this role, you will work in the Weekend Club. The Weekend Club is an educational program where children and young people with disabilities get the opportunity to practice social interaction in a small group based on their interests. Participants are divided into groups based on broad areas of interest such as games, sports, and art. The Weekend Club is a recurring weekend activity with groups that meet on Saturday and Sunday one weekend per month, and groups that meet either Saturday or Sunday every other weekend.
Activities take place at different locations depending on the group. All groups occasionally visit open meeting places such as cinemas, museums, game cafés, bowling alleys, or similar venues, depending on the group's theme.

Job Description
Your work during an activity weekend is to carry out planned activities according to schedule. Activities may include baking, playing video games, crafting, or dancing—depending on which group is involved. Your task is to support and motivate participants in completing the activity. You serve as an extra hand when needed, while also encouraging participants to develop and become more independent.
This is a part-time weekend job where you work approximately 1 weekend per month. The work involves approximately 3-4 hours per week on average, with some weeks being more and others less throughout the term.
The job also includes mandatory training sessions and meetings scheduled on weekday evenings.
The employment begins in August 2026 and runs through the end of December 2026, with the possibility of extension for the next term.
