We create inclusion for children and young people with functional variations who need support organizing their free time, finding a friend, or trying out work experience during school breaks. Program-Specific Information Passalen's activities are conducted through various programs and projects. In this role, you will work in Klubbar by Passalen. Klubbar by Passalen is a program that offers children and young people with functional variations the opportunity to participate in open leisure activities, such as activities at youth centers, swimming facilities, and sports facilities. We serve as a bridge enabling children and young people with functional variations to take part in open leisure activities. We maintain dialogue with participants to create conditions for each individual's participation. Through the program, participants receive support to engage in various activities such as crafts, gaming, games, and sports. The goal is to help participants make new friends, develop their social skills, and increase their participation in society. We also conduct outreach work to reach our target group and inform them of our existence. We do this by maintaining contact with participants by phone and visiting schools and other locations where our target group is present. Read more about the program here: https://passalen.se/klubbarbypassalen/ Job Description Your work as an activity coach primarily involves facilitating various clubs in the open leisure sector together with our participants. A club might, for example, be an activity at a youth center such as baking, playing video games or crafting, a visit to a swimming pool, or trying out a sport. You actively participate in the organized activity and support all participants to engage based on their conditions, abilities, and needs. You serve as a role model and friend to Passalen's participants and have the task of ensuring that each participant feels seen and welcome. **Collaboration is an important part of the role; you should thrive working in a team but also need to be able to work independently.** You work to ensure that Passalen's participants are included in regular leisure activities. Simple administrative tasks also occur in the form of documentation. This is a limited-term part-time position of 10-40 hours/month starting in late August and ending 2026-12-20. Your work shifts are scheduled for afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Work is performed primarily in one or more of our partner municipalities in the North: Sundbyberg, Sollentuna, Järfälla, and Vallentuna. About You We believe that you who apply · are studying at upper secondary level or have recently completed upper secondary studies · are curious about meeting people different from yourself and concerned that everyone feels seen and included in social settings · are self-driven and take initiative, as it often requires you to make independent decisions on site · are organized, patient, and have the ability to remain calm in stressful situations · have good communication skills within your work group as well as with participants, guardians, and others you meet in your position Meritorious for the position (but not required) · previous experience working with children and young people · previous experience working with this target group Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period, and the position may therefore be filled before the final application deadline.
