The Labor Market Unit at Mönsterås Municipality supports people who are outside the job market or lack their own income. Through individually tailored interventions, guidance, and collaboration with employers and other stakeholders, we create opportunities for employment, studies, and increased self-sufficiency. Due to new legislation regarding activity requirements for people receiving financial assistance, the labor market unit has an important role in offering activities and interventions that promote the path toward employment or studies. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES About the Position As an Activity Coordinator, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and developing activities for participants in the labor market unit's operations. The work is based on participants' individual action plans and activity requirements, with the goal of strengthening participants' ability to approach the job market, studies, or other employment. You work in close collaboration with labor market coordinators, supervisors, and other colleagues in the unit. You are responsible for creating a varied and high-quality activity offering that contributes to participants' development, motivation, and progress. The work follows the BIP method, which focuses on participants' resources, motivation, and development opportunities. Job Duties In your role as Activity Coordinator, you will, among other things: • plan and implement activities based on participants' needs • lead group activities with a focus on motivation, health, language, work-life knowledge, and society orientation • develop new activities and working methods that strengthen participants' progress • collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create relevant activities • document attendance, progress, and completed interventions according to the unit's guidelines • contribute to a safe, inclusive, and learning environment • participate in planning, follow-up, and development work within the unit. QUALIFICATIONS We Are Looking for You If You have a genuine interest in people and believe in individuals' ability to develop. For the position, we require: • post-secondary education in pedagogy, behavioral science, public health, labor market issues, social work, or other education that the employer considers equivalent • experience planning and implementing activities for adults • experience working with people in change processes • good computer skills and knowledge of the Office package • experience leading groups or conducting trainings and workshops • very strong ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing • B-category driver's license. It is an advantage if you have: • knowledge of the BIP model • experience from labor market interventions or labor market units • training or experience in health, motivation, or group development • knowledge of integration and labor market issues • knowledge of languages other than Swedish.
