We are now seeking stable and engaged assistants for our client!
Our client is a 23-year-old man who lives alone in an apartment in Strandängen in Jönköping. He is cheerful, attends day activities, and enjoys being active with his assistants.
Our client has significant support needs and requires assistance with everything.
• Help with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, transfers, heavy lifting may occur
• Cleaning and other household tasks
• Accompanying client on activities, exercise, doctor's appointments
• Communication and social support
Our client has significant medical needs including feeding tube, suctioning, and epilepsy management. Experience with this is desirable but not required.
As an applicant, you should have a high work ethic and feel great responsibility for your work. You should be flexible, have a good ability to adapt to different situations, and appreciate and work for the client's wellbeing in daily life. You value thoroughness and clear communication. You are calm, empathetic, and responsive to the client's needs and wishes. You speak and write Swedish fluently.
Good teamwork skills are required since there is two-person staffing around the clock.
Experience in personal assistance or similar work is a plus, but the most important thing is that you are engaged and confident in your role.
We are primarily seeking hourly substitutes who want to work on a schedule over the summer, but there is an opportunity to start now with the possibility of transitioning to a part-time position after the summer.
Shifts are scheduled during the day, evening, and weekends. Night shifts may occasionally occur.
We prefer that you are a non-smoker.
Start date by agreement.
Training and delegation will be provided.
