The Prosecutor's Authority seeks an Internal Audit Director with placement at the headquarters in Stockholm Your responsibilities The Internal Audit Director's duties include following the Internal Audit Ordinance (2006:1228) with the regulations and general advice of the Agency for Government Administration and the Prosecutor's Authority's guidelines for internal audit. The duties also include helping the Prosecutor's Authority achieve its goals by evaluating and contributing to improvements in operations including governance, monitoring, and risk management. The Internal Audit Director is currently the sole person within internal audit and is organizationally placed directly under the Prosecutor-General. If you have dedication and initiative, you can expect varied and independent work where you have considerable scope to use your ability to build relationships and take personal responsibility. Since the agency's operations are conducted throughout the country, the position will involve some travel. Your qualities and qualifications We are looking for someone who has an academic degree in economics, law, social sciences, or equivalent education that the Prosecutor's Authority considers relevant has auditor competence, meaning you have good knowledge of audit methodology, documentation, reporting, and report writing has worked as an internal audit director or as an internal or external auditor. If you are not already a certified internal auditor (CIA or other internal audit certification), you should be prepared to become certified. has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you have professional experience from the public sector, particularly from the judicial system. Tests may be included in the recruitment process. The position is classified and therefore a security clearance including background check will be conducted. Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this position. The Prosecutor's Authority is a preparedness agency. Upon employment, you may be assigned to the Prosecutor's Authority in a crisis situation.
