Do you want to work with property appraisal in an operation where business, analysis, and long-term value creation meet? We are now recruiting for our Valuation, Investment, and Transaction function and are seeking two property appraisers. We welcome both those who are at the beginning of their career and those with solid experience in valuation and commercial real estate analysis. With us, you will combine analysis, business understanding, and strategic decision-making support in an organization that develops and manages environments for education, research, and innovation. As a property appraiser with us, you will work with analysis and valuation of our real estate portfolio and contribute documentation for strategic decisions. The role gives you broad insight into the real estate business and the opportunity to work closely with decisions that impact the development of Akademiska Hus' property portfolio in both the short and long term. Depending on your experience, you will either have a more supportive role in the appraisal work or take greater responsibility for driving and developing work within the valuation area. These are full-time positions, preferably with placement at our office in Gothenburg. You will become part of the Valuation, Investment, and Transaction function.

Responsibilities
Conduct and analyze internal property appraisals
Prepare and quality assure documentation for external appraisals and assist in renegotiations
Monitor and analyze market developments and relevant key metrics
Contribute to the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for decision-makers
Qualifications
As a person, you are analytical, structured, and quality-conscious. It is important that you are driven in your own activities and comfortable with occasionally high pace while delivering with high quality. You have a proactive approach, are comfortable in a scrutinizing role, and take responsibility for driving your work forward while having the ability to see the big picture and business relationships. You are meticulous with a strong focus on quality and high integrity. You are communicative and enjoy collaborating with others to reach common goals. Furthermore, you are curious, unpretentious, and enjoy a role where you can combine analysis, development, and business sense.
We are seeking both those just starting their career and those with several years of experience in property appraisal and will adjust the roles accordingly.
For those at the beginning of your career, we would like to see that you have:
Academic degree in real estate economics, surveying, economics, or equivalent
Good analytical ability and an interest in real estate
Background check will be conducted on final candidates
Meritorious
Have one or several years of experience in real estate analysis or appraisal
Experience from the real estate industry
Advanced mathematical knowledge and ability to perform calculations of calculation models and key metrics
For those with more senior experience, we see that you have:
Relevant academic education in real estate economics, surveying, economics, or equivalent
Several years of experience from appraisal operations at valuation or transaction companies, real estate companies, or banks with focus on real estate analysis and appraisal
Several years of experience in appraisal of commercial real estate portfolios
Very good knowledge of appraisal methods and calculation models
Experience in preparing decision-making documentation and supporting core business
Ability to drive and develop working methods within appraisal
Background check will be conducted on final candidates
Meritorious
Authorized property appraiser
Extensive experience in appraisal of public real estate
