We are looking for an AI developer who wants to be part of building the delivery team of the future Become part of Qronos – where technology meets people About the role Generative AI is transforming how code is written, how tests are generated, how customer service works, and how businesses operate. We are looking for you to be one of the first AI developers in our new AI-Lab — building AI-native solutions for our customers in banking, finance, insurance, and fintech, side by side with senior developers who have delivered mission-critical systems for many years. In this role, you will: • Build agentic AI solutions (LLM tool-use, function calling, orchestration) • Design and implement RAG architectures over real enterprise data, with a focus on traceability, quality, and regulatory compliance. • Create eval-harnesses and quality structures that make AI delivery predictable and production-ready • Pair-program with seniors in .NET/Azure and contribute fresh perspectives and out-of-the-box thinking where needed. • Help shape both the technology and working methods in a lab being built from the ground up. • Work with leading models (Claude, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, and others) and modern frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, vector databases). You are expected to take ownership of technical solutions, identify weaknesses, and improve existing systems. You should be able to deliver – not just participate. What we are looking for To thrive and succeed in this role, we hope you have: • 1–3 years of experience in software development with a modern stack (Python, C#/.NET, TypeScript/JavaScript, Go, or equivalent). • Hands-on experience with at least one of: LLM integrations, RAG, prompt engineering, agentic AI flows, or AI evals. We value practical experience (side projects, hackathons, real production) more heavily than CV lines. • Basic cloud familiarity — Azure, AWS, or GCP. • Databases and SQL • Version control (Git), CI/CD, and basic DevOps thinking. • Understanding of agile working methods (Scrum, Kanban) and experience working in cross-functional teams. • Fluent Swedish and English. Additional languages such as French and German are a plus. Extra advantages if you • Have contributed to AI/ML in production — or have a substantial side project we can look at. • Have experience with .NET 8, C#, Azure (Cosmos DB, Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Search, Azure DevOps) — many of our banking assignments are there. • Have worked with vector databases (FAISS, pgvector, Cosmos DB vector, Pinecone, Weaviate) or hybrid-retrieval patterns. • Have experience with MCP, LangGraph, or other agentic frameworks. • Have test automation experience (Robot Framework, Cypress, xUnit, pytest) — bonus if you have seen how AI agents can generate tests. • Have used eval frameworks (LangSmith, Arize, Helicone, or custom-built) to measure model and agent quality. • Have a background from regulated industries (banking, insurance, fintech) and understand why auditability and traceability are non-negotiable. • Have contributed to open source or written/spoken publicly about AI. About you You are curious about what AI can actually do and have already built something concrete with it. Perhaps a side project with an LLM API, a RAG prototype over your own notes, or an agent that solves a real problem. You can move forward on your own when documentation runs out, but you are equally comfortable pair-programming with seniors who have seen systems from another angle. You think in both pixels and business value. You understand that a good AI solution is one where we know how it works, why it gives the right answers, and how we measure whether it is getting better or worse over time. "It worked in the demo" is not a deployment strategy. You are free from "this is how we have always done it" thinking. You have fresh eyes, but you also write clean, testable code that your colleagues can maintain. You are open, humble, and bring energy to the team.
