AI & Data Lead – Malmö

Do you want to take a leading role in building and developing an AI & Data business in the Malmö region? We are seeking an experienced AI & Data Lead for an established international consulting firm. This is a senior role for someone who wants to combine business development, leadership, and AI & Data – and who is motivated by building operations, creating new client relationships, and developing people. About the role As AI & Data Lead, you will have a clear mandate to drive and develop the business within AI & Data in the Malmö region, while also being actively involved in external project delivery and leading complex client engagements. A central part of the role is being visible in the local market, creating and developing client relationships, and identifying and driving new business opportunities. You are expected to be able to take a business from initial dialogue and needs analysis through to an established client partnership and successful delivery. In parallel, you will have an important leadership role where you build, lead, and develop consultants, while also leading teams in complex client projects and transformation initiatives. You also contribute to developing relevant offerings within AI & Data and translating market and client needs into services that create tangible business value. An important part of the role is external project delivery, where you work closely with clients and lead teams in complex AI & Data initiatives. Client engagements can span the entire transformation journey – from strategy and consulting to implementation and scaling of AI and data solutions. You therefore have your own experience leading or implementing AI solutions in organizations. What we are looking for A strong background in management or technology consulting Good expertise in AI & Data. This could be, for example, in Agentic AI, AI architecture, Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Data Strategy, or AI Strategy – you are not expected to cover all areas Experience implementing AI solutions and taking initiatives from strategy and idea to actual use in the organization Documented experience in business development and sales of complex transformation and consulting services Experience independently developing new client relationships and driving sales processes Experience building, leading, and developing teams Experience leading teams in larger transformation programs and complex client environments Strong local roots in Malmö/Skåne and a relevant professional network in the region You don't need to be the most technical specialist in the room. However, you need to have sufficient expertise in AI & Data to be a credible advisor to senior decision-makers and to understand how technology can be translated into real business value. Merits It is a plus if you have experience from the consumer, energy, or public sector, have built up a business area or local consulting operation, and have an established network at senior decision-maker level. Experience with GenAI and/or Agentic AI is particularly interesting. Who are you? You are a business-oriented and visible leader who thrives at the intersection of client, people, and technology.
