About the Position Would you like to combine service, problem-solving, and customer interaction in a world-leading industrial company? We are now looking for an After Sales Engineer who wants to help ensure that our customers have a secure and trouble-free ownership experience with their Hammar side loaders. As an After Sales Engineer, you will be an important link between our customers, service partners, subsidiaries, and internal functions. You will help customers with technical questions and be responsible for driving cases forward and following them through to resolution. At the same time, you will contribute to a professional, business-focused, and proactive aftermarket. Contact primarily takes place via phone, email, and digital communication tools. Job Responsibilities Examples of tasks: • Provide technical support and guidance to customers, service partners, and subsidiaries. • Analyze and diagnose problems by asking the right questions, interpreting drawings, and using technical documentation. • Drive and follow up on customer cases from inquiry to solution. • Sell spare parts B2B, work proactively with customer needs, and contribute to increased spare parts sales. • Prepare quotes, calculations, and pricing information, as well as manage orders and related administration. • Handle and document warranty cases in our business system Monitor. • Collaborate with the sales team and other internal functions to ensure fast and sustainable solutions. • Contribute to the development of the After Sales operation and keep relevant materials and documentation updated. Qualifications and Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who enjoys combining service, problem-solving, and sales in a single role. You enjoy customer contact, take responsibility for your cases, and ensure that what you start is also completed. You have a good technical understanding and are practically oriented, which helps you understand the customer's question, ask the right questions, and find the way forward. You also have good administrative skills and communicate professionally even when the pace is high or the questions are complex. We are looking for someone who has: • Technical background and good understanding of mechanics, hydraulics, and/or heavy vehicles. • Experience in technical support, service, spare parts sales, or similar work. • Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documentation, including in English. • Good analytical skills and experience in troubleshooting or diagnostics. • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • Good computer skills and ability to work systematically in business systems and Microsoft 365. Merits: It is advantageous if you have experience with vehicles in a workshop environment, spare parts, or aftermarket. Knowledge of vehicle electrical systems, CAN-bus, PLC systems, customs handling, or logistics is also valuable. Experience with Monitor, Lime, or similar systems, as well as additional language skills, is a plus. Relevant upper secondary or post-secondary education in, for example, heavy vehicles, mechanics, hydraulics, or electrical systems is advantageous. As a person, you are service-oriented, attentive, and solution-focused. You take responsibility for your work, work systematically and carefully, and ensure that you drive your tasks all the way to completion. You have a business-focused approach and are motivated by creating value for the customer. At the same time, you are unpretentious and collaboration-oriented, enjoy sharing your knowledge, and contribute to a good work environment. What We Offer Permanent employment directly with Hammar Maskin AB, with a six-month initial probation period. Full-time (100%). Place of work is Olsfors. Start date by agreement. You will receive thorough training in our products, systems, and working methods. The role gives you the opportunity to work closely with both the product and the business, with contacts around the world. With development, engineering, and production all located in Olsfors, expertise is close at hand and decision-making processes are short. You will have a varied role where you can influence both customer experience and the development of our After Sales operation.
