Kista Utveckling AB is the City of Stockholm's company responsible for driving and enabling the development of Kista. Now we're looking for a business developer who wants to work at the intersection of real estate development, urban development, and business. Welcome to us Kista Utveckling AB is a newly established real estate company within the City of Stockholm with the aim of strengthening Kista's attractiveness and contributing to the transformation taking place in the area. The company's mission is to drive and coordinate urban development and business development so that land and real estate values are strengthened. The work is long-term and working methods will evolve over time in collaboration with other stakeholders. Your role In this role, you will identify, initiate, and drive development projects together with property owners, investors, businesses, and various departments of the City of Stockholm. You will work with both early-stage development ideas and concrete business arrangements and implementation issues. As a person, you are business-minded, analytical, proactive, and driven. You can go from idea to implementation, enjoy multiple points of contact, and have the ability to build trusting relationships. Since Kista Utveckling AB is a small organization, you also need to be unpretentious and willing to work both strategically and operationally. Your main responsibilities: As a business developer with us, your main responsibilities will be to: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities Conduct market and environmental analyses Prepare investment calculations and risk analyses Develop business arrangements and strategies Lead development projects and prepare decision-making documentation Your competence and experience For this assignment, we are looking for someone who has: Relevant higher education, for example in real estate economics, urban development, economics, or equivalent, Several years of experience in business or real estate development, Documented experience of independently driving development projects, Good understanding of real estate economics, investment calculations, valuation, and business models, Extensive experience in negotiations and working with property owners, investors, and other external stakeholders, Strong ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both orally and in writing. It is advantageous if you have: Experience with large urban development projects with commercial properties, Experience with real estate transactions or joint ventures.
