About Nitro Consult Nitro Consult is a specialist consulting firm in infrastructure development with roots from Alfred Nobel and a long history of creating safe and sustainable solutions in: Hydrogeology, rock engineering, blast engineering, acoustics, and vibration impact. The company currently consists of approximately 70 consultants throughout Sweden and Norway, with the Stockholm office being the largest with around 35 employees. Here, specialist expertise and large infrastructure projects are combined with a family-like culture, short decision-making paths, and significant individual responsibility. About the role As Business Area Manager, you are responsible for leading and developing Nitro Consult's operations in Stockholm. You have overall responsibility for the business area's development and work closely with group managers to create good conditions for the operations and employees. An important part of the role is understanding the market, developing customer relationships, and creating new opportunities for the business. You work closely with customers, employees, and management and contribute your technical background in discussions about Nitro Consult's areas of expertise. The role includes, among other things: Responsibility for the business area's results and development Coach and support group managers in their leadership Drive operations toward set goals regarding growth, profitability, and quality Contribute technical expertise in dialogue with customers and operations Participate in and contribute to the company's management team We believe that you You have experience leading employees, for example as a manager or group manager, and feel confident in creating engagement, building trust, and driving development. You have experience from infrastructure development and are accustomed to working closely with customers, operations, and complex assignments. To succeed in the role, you should have: A technical background in, for example, hydrogeology, rock engineering, blast engineering, vibrations, acoustics, or related field Experience from consulting, client, or construction operations in infrastructure development Several years of experience in leadership with personnel responsibility Experience in business development and customer responsibility Relevant higher education or civil engineering degree Very good Swedish and English in speech and writing As a person, you are engaged, confident, and business-minded. You have natural leadership, are communicative and unpretentious, and have the ability to switch between strategic issues and operational decisions.
