About the Role The Region & Main Grid business area works on projects and maintenance of regional and main grid power lines throughout the country. Our customers are primarily electrical network companies. In your role as Business Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead an operation with approximately 130 employees, six department managers, and three project managers. You have overall responsibility for business, results, and business development, and become a key person in meeting the sharply increasing demand for electrical grid-related services. You will have the opportunity to lead an engaged organization with strong specialized expertise and a clear focus on safety, quality, and business efficiency. Together with your managers, you drive the development of the business, strengthen customer relationships, and create conditions for continued growth and profitability. You will play a crucial role in sizing and developing the business for the future, where competence supply, recruitment, and organizational development become important success factors. We offer you a varied leadership assignment in a results- and business-oriented operation. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area as well as close contact with our customers. Furthermore, you are responsible for ensuring safe work practices and maintaining high employee engagement. You report to the Unit Manager for Projects and are part of the management group. Requirements Solid experience from the contracting and/or energy sector – you may for example have a background in construction, infrastructure, or industry Experience leading a larger project organization Extensive experience in a leading position with responsibility for management groups, strategic planning, finance, personnel, and results Experience managing managers (meriting) Communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. Sometimes communication in English is also required To be successful in this role, you are business-minded, customer-oriented, and drive results through collaboration in your own management group as well as in the broader organization. You have the ability to set direction and bring your employees along through high participation. Your communication skills are excellent, and as a leader you are clear, attentive, and a reliable support for your employees. Finally, you are experienced in leading remotely while also being present through phone and video calls. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week), and a class B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
