Together we make a difference for the entire society. About the Role The Region & Main Grid business area works with projects and maintenance of regional and main grid lines throughout the country. Our customers are primarily electricity distribution companies. In your role as Business Area Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead an operation with approximately 130 employees, six department managers, and three project managers. You have overall responsibility for business, results, and operational development and will become a key person in meeting the significantly increasing demand for electricity grid-related services. You will have the opportunity to lead an engaged organization with strong specialist expertise and a clear focus on safety, quality, and business-minded operations. Together with your managers, you will drive the development of the operation, strengthen customer relationships, and create conditions for continued growth and profitability. You will play a decisive role in sizing and developing the operation for the future, where skills supply, recruitment, and organizational development become important success factors. We offer you a varied leadership assignment in a results-oriented and business-minded operation. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area as well as close contact with our customers. Additionally, you are responsible for ensuring safe work practices and maintaining high employee engagement. You report to the Unit Manager for Projects and are part of the management group. Requirements Solid experience from the construction and/or energy sector – you may, for example, have a background in construction, infrastructure, or industry Experience leading a larger project organization Extensive experience in a leadership position with experience managing management groups, strategic planning, finances, personnel, and results Experience managing managers (meritorious) Communicates fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written. Occasionally, English communication is also required To be successful in this role, you are business-minded, customer-oriented, and drive results through collaboration in your own management group as well as in the organization as a whole. You have the ability to set direction and bring your employees along through high participation. Your communication skills are very good and as a leader, you are clear, attentive, and a reliable support for your employees. Finally, you are experienced in leading remotely while also being present via telephone and video. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week) and a B driving license is a requirement for the position.
