We need more energy heroes, and now we are looking for an engaged Business Area Manager for our project operations for large Station Projects! Is that you? Together we make a difference, for all of society. About the Role The large Station Projects business area works with station and hydropower projects across the country. Our customers are primarily electricity distribution companies and electricity producers. In your role as Business Area Manager, you are responsible for four departments (with four directly reporting department managers), four project managers, and four specialists. A total responsibility of approximately 100 employees. You will have the privilege of leading a knowledgeable and engaged team that works together to develop the business and create long-term strong results. We offer you a varied leadership assignment in a results-oriented and business-focused operation. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area and close contact with our customers. You are also responsible for ensuring safe working methods and maintaining high employee engagement. You report to the Unit Manager for Projects and are part of the management team. Requirements Solid experience from the contracting and/or energy sector – you may, for example, have a background in construction, infrastructure, or industry Experience leading a larger project organization that includes turnkey contracts Extensive experience in a leadership position with responsibility for management teams, strategic planning, finances, personnel, and results Experience managing managers (desirable) Communicate fluently in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. Sometimes you also need to communicate in English To be successful in this role, you are business-minded, customer-oriented, and drive results through collaboration in your own management team as well as in the organization at large. You have the ability to set direction and bring your employees along through high involvement. Your communication skills are excellent, and as a leader you are clear, attentive, and a reliable support for your employees. Finally, you are experienced in leading remotely while also being present via, for example, phone and video. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week) and a driving license is a requirement for the position.
