About the Role The business area plays a key role in Vattenfall Services' operations and is responsible for developing technical solutions and design documentation for our station projects. The operations consist of four departments with specialist expertise in construction and engineering, whose work forms the foundation for our station projects. As Business Area Manager Construction, you will have the opportunity to lead a national operation with approximately 60 employees and four department heads. We offer you a varied leadership assignment in a central part of our operations. You will have financial, strategic, and operational responsibility for the entire business area, including forecasts, cost budgets, and operational monitoring. Furthermore, you have overall responsibility for our technical networks and identify opportunities and solutions to the industry's resource and competency challenges. Requirements Solid experience from the contracting and/or energy industry – for example, you could have a background in construction, infrastructure, engineering, or industry Extensive experience in a leading position with responsibility for management teams, strategic planning, finance, personnel, and results Experience in leading managers (meriting) Communicate fluently in Swedish in speech and writing. Sometimes you also need to communicate in English To be successful in this role, you are a coaching leader who drives results through collaboration in your own management team as well as in the organization at large. You have the ability to set direction and engage your employees through high participation. Your communication skills are very strong and as a leader, you are clear, attentive, and a trusted support for your employees. Finally, you are experienced in leading remotely and at the same time being present digitally and by phone. Travel is a natural part of the work (approximately 2 days/week) and a B driver's license is a requirement for the position.
