Do you want to contribute to protecting Sweden's security? Do you want to work with legal issues concerning foreign direct investments? Job Description As a business lawyer in the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) unit, you work in close collaboration with colleagues on everything from ongoing support regarding transactions and reporting obligations to in-depth analyses of transaction structures, detailed interpretation and application of FDI legislation, and development and follow-up of conditions. The role spans a broad area of expertise and offers opportunities for specialization in many different issues that arise in the unit. You actively contribute to the development of methods and working practices within your area and in the unit. Contact with other authorities is a natural part of the work. Qualifications Law degree or equivalent legal education in a relevant field such as business law Current and relevant experience of legal work in business law, corporate law or contract law, information security, security protection legislation or other areas relevant to FDI legislation Current and relevant experience from work at a government authority, law firm, consulting firm or other experience that the employer deems equivalent Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English Merits Experience of exercising public authority, for example through work at a regulatory authority, work with supervision, court practice or similar Relevant experience of working with corporate acquisitions and transactions Relevant experience of working with foreign transactions and knowledge of foreign corporate structures Experience in method development Interest in foreign, security and defense policy Personal Qualities We are looking for someone with the ability to quickly get to grips with extensive material and narrow down issues in a relevant and efficient manner. You work methodically and are used to making necessary prioritizations to deliver on time while maintaining quality. About Employment at ISP The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. Start date is by agreement. The employment entails an obligation to be mobilized for war. To work for us, Swedish citizenship is required. The position is classified as security-sensitive and a security vetting with background check will be conducted before an employment decision is made. Since a large part of the work tasks involve classified information, the possibility of remote work is limited. About ISP ISP is a government authority with a foreign policy focus.
