Your tasks
This employment is a combination role, which means you will primarily work administratively but also as a court officer. To thrive with us, you therefore need to be able to handle various administrative tasks and switch between roles. You have an important role in the court's daily operations where we work together to carry out the court's mission. The work is varied, social, and requires both structure and flexibility – perfect for you if you thrive in a dynamic environment.
As an Administrator/Court Officer, you will, together with the court's other Administrators/Court Officers, mainly work with the disclosure of public records and other administrative tasks, be responsible for internal office services, work with IT issues and provide technical support at the court, staff the court's reception and fixed security screening with X-ray equipment, and otherwise participate in the court's security work.
You are also prepared to, when needed, travel to and serve at the court's location in Örnsköldsvik when hearings are held there, work overtime because hearings sometimes continue after regular working hours, and serve on weekends when the court has weekend on-call duty.
Because we are a medium-sized court, the breadth of work tasks is large, and for us it is self-evident that we help each other.
About you
An important part of the work is to receive and help those who come to the court and to maintain order and security. It is therefore important that you provide good service, are calm and confident as a person, and have an easy way of handling people. The role requires that you have completed secondary school education, good computer skills, and good knowledge of Swedish.
You must also have a valid court officer authorization or meet the requirements for and be willing to complete the police's court officer training, which in that case will be financed by the court. It is an absolute requirement that you complete and pass this training. For more information about the training, see the Police Authority's website www.polisen.se.
