Defense Medicine Center The Defense Medicine Center is the Swedish Armed Forces' center for defense medicine, located in Gothenburg. The Defense Medicine Center consists of a management with staff, a Functional Unit, a Hospital Battalion, and the Swedish Armed Forces' combat school for defense medicine. About the Unit The Swedish Armed Forces' Combat School for Defense Medicine (FSS) at FömedC in Gothenburg is a Swedish Armed Forces-wide resource that conducts training, exercises, and drills in defense medicine subsurface, on surface, on land, and in the air. FSS consists of three divisions: the Education Division, the Exercise Division, and the Simulation and Methods Division. The Education Division conducts courses, training programs, and quality assures defense medicine training conducted by other units in Sweden. The Exercise Division plans, conducts, and evaluates training and exercises in defense medicine. The Simulation and Methods Division conducts training, education, and development of advanced defense medicine simulation and pedagogical methods to train military units' qualified medical care units. This position is placed in the Simulation and Methods Division. Main Responsibilities Support the division with administration related to the implementation of the division's exercises, courses, and training Management support, for example with recruitment and onboarding of new employees Administer activations/employments of temporary service personnel including reserve officers Conduct orders and purchases for the division's exercises, courses, and training, and keep track of budgets Qualifications Vocational higher education degree with focus on administration, communication, economics, and customer contact, or equivalent At least three years of current experience in administrative work Good knowledge of office packages Good ability to express yourself in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Category B driver's license, manual transmission Meriting Qualifications Bachelor's degree in behavioral science/service management or equivalent Military basic training, for example military service or GMU Previous experience of working in the Swedish Armed Forces Experience with SAP/PRIO Experience with VIDAR Category C driver's license Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is flexible and stress-resilient and finds it easy to handle rapid changes in work. You are good at working independently as well as in a group and are responsible in solving assigned tasks/objectives.
