This is done by connecting attractiveness work, cultural experiences, business, communication, digitalization, innovation, and service and interaction matters. Through collaboration with municipal companies and other actors in Norrköping, the office creates value and welfare for residents, businesses, organizations, civil society, and visitors. The Growth and Development Office's work is based on the needs and wishes of residents, businesses, organizations, civil society, and visitors. The office currently consists of six departments: Contact and Service, Education and Youth, Norrköping Innovation Lab, Digitalization and IT, Finance and Personnel Administration, and Communication, Business, Culture and Sports. Now we're looking for an administrative manager and deputy office manager who wants to help shape how we work and develop together to continue making a difference for municipal residents and business! Your responsibilities As administrative manager, you are responsible for the office's internal delivery and work to strengthen the organization's ability to carry out its mission effectively and with high quality. You drive the development of working methods, processes, and meeting formats with particular focus on change management, and ensure that the management group works in a structured way and develops its shared working methods. Initially, you will focus heavily on the development task of finding interfaces, shaping working methods, and identifying which roles should be part of your team. You have a holistic perspective on operational management, support functions, and resources, and lead initiatives that contribute to a more cohesive and efficient organization. The role also includes personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility for your department, as well as responsibility for sustainability work, preparedness matters, and the role of chief of staff in crisis management, plus overall responsibility for facilities management. In your role as deputy office manager, you are a close and trusted support to the Growth and Development Director and function as her extended arm in the organization. You step in as needed in meetings, are responsible for ensuring that office-wide forums such as office meetings and management collegium are planned and developed, and participate in collaboration with labor organizations. With a clear holistic perspective, you actively contribute to the office's management group. You help translate strategy into practice, with a focus on creating shared understanding, clear priorities, and real impact on the office's overall mission. Who are you? We're looking for you as a confident and engaged leader who likes to get things done and who does it together with others. You have relevant higher education and experience working as a manager, preferably in a politically governed organization. If you have experience leading through other managers, we see that as a positive. You have good understanding and knowledge of the principle of public access and municipal decision-making processes. You are experienced in driving change and development work and have good knowledge of operational management. As a person, you are goal and results-oriented, clear in direction and expectations, and can shift approach when the work requires it. You have a good ability to collaborate with different functions, and see collaboration as key to success. Your leadership is characterized by trust, where you give responsibility, create conditions, and help people grow. You lead with integrity, courage, and care, and are guided by the overarching purpose—to contribute to welfare and public benefit. Furthermore, you have the ability to look beyond the immediate and think strategically, while also being able to translate ideas into concrete action.
